In my diploma work I am dealing with topic of work in one of the world's largest global retailer on the internet - Amazon. In 2015 Amazon opened a new fullfilment centre in Dobrovíz near Prague. Through the statement of one of ex-employee I discovered what it means to work for one of the richest man in the world (2019) - Jeff Bezos. These working conditions I've decided to demonstrate on platform AmazonExperience which consists from e-shop that contains artworks - that apeears as products. They are mostly inspired by company's slogans, stereotypes of work, experiences of Amazon's system and strict or unwritten rules.

The bachelor thesis examines whether the most important technological companies of the modern world are in an oligopolistic position. The aim of the thesis is to confirm or reject the chosen oligopolistic theory, which will be specified in the research part of the thesis. This section will also briefly list selected companies. In the next section, the selected points will be applied to the chosen companies. The research focuses mainly on the current state of the companies, the years 2017 and 2018.

The aim of the diploma thesis is to formulate recommendations for a company, that wants to expand into European markets through Amazon. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first one is the theoretical part, where attention is paid to the study of the issue with the help of professional literature and professional articles. The basis of the work consists of the analysis of the external and internal environment. Based on the facts obtained from them, specific recommendations for entering the UK and German market were proposed.

The comparison of the performance of PPC campaigns on Google AdWords and US Amazon

Bachelor´s Thesis is focused on concept of pay per click marketing on these two platforms: Google AdWords and US Amazon. The main objective of this thesis is to answer the question, what effects have PPC advertising campaigns on Amazon and Google on the results of companies selling physical products on Amazon´s platform. The objective of the Bachelor Thesis is achieved by comparing the effects of both campaigns from many aspects, whether in terms of cost-effectiveness, value or marketability of the complexity of setting up and subsequent management of campaigns for the standard user. To achieve objectives are used metrics and data described below on a theoretical and methodological part of the thesis. In the practical part the campaigns on both platforms developed, optimized, and the results are then analyzed in detail.

Books as a medium and their role in contemporary world - paper or screen?

The purpose of this work is to analyze the newly grown phenomenon of electronic books and electronic publishing, to map consequences of e-books in relation to paper books and to describe its pros and cons. Also, this work tries to compare ebook readers presently available on Czech market, and to make a comparison of most frequently used e-book formats. The future of e-books in the Czech Republic can be inestimable, but this work gives the opinions of some Czech publishers, booksellers and authors, trying to suggest how the future may look like.

This thesis Interactive content of eBooks presents complex view on preparations and development of interactive and enhanced electronic book from technical, legislative, content and economic perspective. It describes types of interactivity modules, available interactive eBook formats, reading devices and software. It also compares USA market to the Czech market of interactive eBooks. This thesis processes results of questionnaire survey in the area of Czech readers awareness of interactive eBooks. In practical part of the thesis process of interactive book creation in Czech environment is engineered.

The master's thesis Extractive reserves in the brazilian Amazon analyzes the contemporary economic and social development in the region of brazilian Amazon and the position of the concept of extractive reserves inside this process. The main goal is to determine whether the extractive reserves are the ideal strategy for this region and a path to sustainable development while trying to describe the structure of their production and the possibility of placement of their product on the world market.
